MAYA YUWONO CHENG is a design professional based in the San Francisco Bay Area. After earning a degree in Interior Design and Art History from the University of Oklahoma, Maya has had the pleasure of working for leading U.S. companies managing end-to-end design and development projects. Her eighteen years of experience include project management, global retail design, 3D fixture design, fixture manufacturing, visual merchandising, customer experience, and product design.
Maya combines her creative energy and tinkerer spirit with an analytical nature. She is driven by finding the right balance of functional and aesthetic details with respect for the consumer, but is also passionate about driving efficiency and organization into her design process. She takes pleasure in finding innovative solutions, learning new things, and working in collaborative environments.
In her spare time, Maya enjoys traveling, cooking, searching for vintage treasure at thrift and antique stores, and being in the sunshine with her family.
